Can you show me how to use the app?

We have a video guide located on YouTube here. The iOS version is nearly identical to the Android version, so even though the video shows the Android app, the instructions should work for Apple devices as well.

What devices can run the Outlet Finder app?

Outlet Finder can run on both Android and iOS devices. Android devices must have Android version 5.0 or higher installed and iOS devices must have iOS 13.0 or higher installed.

What countries can the Outlet Finder app be downloaded in?

Outlet Finder is currently available to users in the United States and Canada.

The app says it can't find my location. What should I do, and why does this happen?

Your phone's GPS/Location services might be off, or your device doesn't have your location previously cached in the system. Try these solutions:

• Turn on your device's location settings.

• If you have the ability to choose your device's location precision, use the most accurate options.

• If you tried everything and the app still can't find your location, try opening Google Maps, Apple Maps, or another map based app to see if your device is granting the location out at all. If another app succeeds in getting your location, Outlet Finder might be able to get your location now.

The Android app says I need to update Google Play Services and closes. How do I fix this?

Outlet Finder utilizes Google Maps to find your location, and Google Maps best works when Google Services is up to date. Once you update Google Play Services on your device, the Outlet Finder app will work again. To update Google Play Services, follow these instructions provided by Google.
